Position: Associate Attorney

A top 200 leading law firm in Oakland, California, specializing in corporate and business law. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research and draft legal documents for clients.
Advise clients on legal matters and provide strategic legal advice.
Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
Assist with drafting and negotiating contracts and agreements.
Prepare and review legal documents, such as contracts, pleadings, and briefs.
Maintain and update client files and documents.
Attend client meetings and assist with client communications.
Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to provide comprehensive legal services.
Keep up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may affect clients.
Handle multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to the State Bar of California.
2-3 years of experience in a law firm, preferably in corporate or business law.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Strong work ethic and ability to handle a high volume of work.
Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
Knowledge of California laws and regulations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
